Raspberry Fudge Chunk Greek FroYo!

My second Ben and Jerry's Greek FroYo flavor is Raspberry Fudge Chunk.

Ben and Jerry's Raspberry Fudge Chunk consists of Raspberry Greek Frozen Yogurt with Fudge Chunks.

It seems that the Ben and Jerry's Greek yogurt flavors are not as crazy as the Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Ben and Jerry's Raspberry Fudge Chunk is very simple and the review for this flavor is short and sweet.

One thing I noticed right away was that the raspberry Greek yogurt wasn't as sour as the Ben and Jerry's blueberry Greek yogurt that I had last time (Blueberry Vanilla Graham). For some reason, the raspberry mellows out the sourness.

And the fudge chunks are HUGE! There are a lot of them in the pint. The chunks make the Greek FroYo more sweet which (I think) takes away the sour taste that the Greek yogurt naturally has.

The raspberry Greek yogurt and the fudge chunks together make a simple but very good FroYo flavor. Who doesn't love fudge and raspberries?!

I do not know what my next flavor is going to be. I am going home for spring break and I may or may not be able to get a new pint. If I get a new pint, I will have a review next week. If not, I will post a new review in about 2 weeks when I get back to school (which would be a review of Dublin Mudslide).

Ben and Jerry's Blueberry Vanilla Graham Greek FroYo Review!!

I tried the new Ben and Jerry's Blueberry Vanilla Graham Greek FroYo!

Blueberry Vanilla Graham consists of Blueberry and Vanilla Greek Frozen Yogurts with a Graham Cracker Swirl.

Love the cow!!
The one thing I noticed right away is that the FroYo has that slightly sourish kind of taste that Greek yogurt has. If you are not familiar with Greek yogurt, it tastes a little bit more sour than regular yogurt. All yogurt is made with milk and healthy bacteria. The difference between the 2 yogurts is that the Greek yogurt is strained to separate the whey (from the milk) and liquid. Along with the liquid goes some salt and sugar from lactose (an enzyme found in milk). This makes the Greek yogurt thicker and more sour. (Some of the information from this paragraph is from http://www.thatsfit.com/2011/03/30/too-good-to-be-food-dannon-greek-yogurt/).

There is a nice blend of the blueberry and vanilla Greek yogurts. One doesn't overpower the other. What I really liked about it is that the 2 yogurts are swirled together (along with the graham cracker swirl). Because of this, you get an generous portion of the blueberry and vanilla yogurts in one spoonful.

As for the graham cracker swirl, there isn't a lot of it in my pint. The swirl gives the yogurt a hint of the graham cracker flavor along with a different texture. The swirl gives every spoonful a little bit of a crunchy texture while the yogurt gives it a smooth texture. This allows the graham cracker swirl to enhance the flavor of the 2 Greek yogurts but it doesn't overpower them.

It looks so pretty!!!!
So that is it for Blueberry Vanilla Graham. If you didn't buy a Ben and Jerry's Greek FroYo flavor yet, don't hesitate to. I think that it is absolute genius for Ben and Jerry's to develop the idea of making Greek FroYo. And it is also really, really good.

The next flavor that I will be trying is the Ben and Jerry's Raspberry Fudge Chunk Greek FroYo. I might be able to get a review of it by next weekend but early next week seems more realistic.

Thanks for reading!!

I found the Greek FroYo!!

I went shopping yesterday and I found them!! Stop and Shop had 2 rows of just the Greek FroYo flavors.
I bought a pint of the Raspberry Fudge Chunk and Blueberry Vanilla Graham. My friend bought 2 pints of the Peanut Butter Banana.

Our freezer after food shopping!
I tried some of the Blueberry Vanilla Graham first and I hope to get a review out in a few days.
