A few days ago, I got back from my trip to my new school in Michigan and Canada. It was a lot of fun seeing my new graduate school (The University of Michigan) and I visited Canada (the Toronto area) for the first time. And now it is back to normal for another month until I move to Michigan in the end of August.
The next flavor is Cherry Garcia! Now I have a confession to make...I never had Cherry Garcia before this. I know it is one of Ben and Jerry's classic flavors but I actually HATED cherries when I was younger. I even hated the cherry flavored candies. I did not like anything cherry. I only started liking cherries recently so I decided to try and review the classic flavor.
Cherry Garcia consists of Cherry Ice Cream with Cherries and Fudge Flakes. It is named after the legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia in 1987.
The cherry ice cream flavor itself is not overpowering; there is a hint of cherry flavor. It is very creamy just like other Ben and Jerry's flavors. I would say that most of the cherry flavor comes from the actual cherries. In my pint, I had HUGE pieces of cherries. I actually had half of a whole cherry in the pint. There is a mixture of big and small chunks of chocolate. The cherries and chocolate together make an incredible but simple combo of flavors.
I am not sure what the next flavor will be. I will let you guys know when I get another flavor.
Thanks for reading!!!!
