It is Cannoli! Finally! And Happy Holidays!

I finally got my hands on my first pint of Cannoli. I have been waiting for this since the flavor came out in late September. It is amazing how many stores have it here in New York but the closest store to me when I am in Michigan is over 30 miles away. I guess that is what happens when you go to school in the middle of nowhere. Anyways, here is the review.

Ben and Jerry's Cannoli is Mascarpone Ice Cream with Fudge Covered Cannoli Pastry Shell Chunks & a Mascarpone Swirl.

If you like extremely sweet ice cream, this flavor is for you. I found that the mascarpone ice cream is very sweet which is something you notice right away in the first spoonful. There are a lot of fudge covered cannoli pastry shells in the pint. They add a nice crunch to the texture along with adding another level of sweetness to the flavor.

One thing that I did not notice in the pint are the mascarpone swirls. I was thinking that maybe the swirls are blended into the mascarpone ice cream. If that is the case, I can't really tell the difference between the ice cream and the swirl. This could explain why the ice cream seems extra sweet.

I probably will not have another flavor until I go back to Michigan right after New Year's. I will let you guys know when I get the new Ben and Jerry's flavor.

Thanks for reading! Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Pumpkin Cheesecake!

Pumpkin. It is one of my favorite things about this time of year. I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin  donuts, pumpkin bread, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin-smelling candles and craving pumpkins around Halloween. And when I heard that Ben and Jerry's was releasing their limited batch Pumpkin Cheesecake, I wanted to get a pint before the season was over.

I was not able to get the flavor last year but I heard that the flavor was being sold at Wal-Mart, which is now my primary supermarket. I have been looking for this flavor there since it was re-released in late September/early October. I found it on Thursday, and it freezer looked like it was recently restocked so I wonder if they just got the flavor. Nevertheless, I have it and it is time for a review!

Ben and Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake consists of pumpkin cheesecake ice cream with a graham cracker swirl.

You can smell the pumpkin as soon as you open the top of the pint. But I found that the actual pumpkin flavor of the ice cream was not very overpowering. The cheesecake made the ice cream extremely creamy and smooth and it mellowed the pumpkin flavor a little bit. This allowed all 3 of the major flavors (the pumpkin, cheesecake, and graham cracker) to be equally presented.

In my pint, the graham cracker was not an actual "swirl". It was very much blended into the pumpkin cheesecake ice cream. Even though there wasn't a true graham cracker swirl, I did have some chunks of graham crackers in a couple of spoonfuls. You can also taste a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon within the ice cream as well. It is a nice combination of flavors.

This will probably be the last review for a few weeks (until mid-December at the absolute earliest). It is the end of the semester and I have finals coming up. I will be done in 2 weeks and will be driving back home to Long Island for the first time in 4 months! When I am home, I will definitely be on the lookout for Cannoli.

Thanks! And to all of the students out there: Good luck on your finals!

I found Pumpkin Cheesecake!!!

I went to my local Wal-Mart today. I was digging through the Ben and Jerry's selection in the freezer aisle (surprisingly they do not have a big selection of flavors). And I found Pumpkin Cheesecake on the back of the shelf! I was so excited to find it since I was looking for the flavor since it was re-released earlier in the fall (along with Cannoli which I still have not found).

I will have a review of Pumpkin Cheesecake later this weekend or early next week!

Everything But The... Review!!!

It is that time again: A new review!!! This time the flavor is Everything But The...

Ben and Jerry's Everything But The... is A Collision of Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Creams mixed with Peanut Butter Cups, Heath Bar Chunks, White Chocolatey Chunks and Fudge Covered Almonds.

Wow. All I got to say is wow. There is so much going on in this pint (just look at the picture below!). There are big chunks of peanut butter cups and white chocolate fudge. The fudge covered almonds are smaller but there is still a good amount of them in the pint.

While eating this pint, the best idea that I had was to put a little bit of everything onto one spoonful. The texture and flavor combinations were unreal. The flavors were very intense and it was hard to pinpoint all of them. There was saltiness from the peanut butter cups and almonds, sweetness from the white chocolate fudge chunks and the fudge covering the almonds along with the crunchiness and toffee from the heath bar chunks. You also cannot forget the smooth and creamy chocolate and vanilla ice creams which ties all of the flavors together. It's incredible.

This may be the last review until December. I am not going food shopping this week and Thanksgiving is Thursday. I may not be able to get a new flavor until early next week, after Thanksgiving.

Thanks for reading!!

Still no luck in finding Cannoli =(

Today, I went to my local Kroger and looked for the new flavor. Unfortunately, they were either out of Cannoli or they don't have it. I have a feeling that I will have to wait until December when I go back home to NY to try Cannoli. I am hoping that it will still be in stores at that time.

In the meantime, I got a new flavor: Everything But The...

Will have the review either at the end of this week or early next week.

New York Super Fudge Chunk!!!

I am homesick and I miss my home state of New York so I decided to try Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk.

Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk is made of Chocolate Ice Cream with White and Dark Fudge Chocolate, Pecans, Walnuts and Fudge Covered Almonds.

On the back of the pint, it states "...we could make an even more unforgettable impression on New Yorkers if we added more chunks than any other flavor we made". And they do not disappoint this New Yorker.  There are a lot of pecans, walnuts, dark chocolate covered almonds, and fudge chunks in the pint. And the fudge chucks are HUGE. There is a mixture of both dark chocolate and white chocolate fudge. As usual, the chocolate ice cream is very smooth and creamy.

When you add the dark and white fudge chunks with the dark chocolate covered almonds, the combination of all the chocolate flavors and textures hits you and your taste buds. The pecans, walnuts, and almonds add another layer of texture which amplifies the flavor even more. This is a great and intense flavor.

I am still on the lookout for the new B&J flavor Cannoli. According to the #FindCannoli website (http://www.benjerry.com/limited-batch-locator?utm_source=benandjerrys&utm_medium=twitter), the closest place to me is at a Krogers that is 40 miles away. But there is a Krogers 10 minutes away from my place so I am going to go there (either later this week or the weekend) and see if they have the flavor.

Hurricane and Superstorm Sandy

Hurricane Sandy has come and gone. It left my hometown in shambles. Apparently, there was a lot of flooding, downed trees, and damage. And in was worse in NYC, Queens and NJ. It is hard to believe that something like this has happened. Being here in Michigan, I have no idea what the impact is like back home on Long Island. All I can do is just check the photos and read the news online.

My family and friends are safe. A lot of them lost material stuff but they are OK nevertheless. It is so hard to be so far away and that I can't help out from Michigan.

http://www.benjerry.com/limited-batch-locator?utm_source=benandjerrys&utm_medium=twitter

Unfortunately, the closest place to me is over 300 miles away so I am not sure how I am going to get a pint unless more stores near me stock it. Only time can tell!!!

Got another flavor...New York Super Fudge Chunk

Went to Walmart yesterday and got this flavor. I am still on the hunt for Cannoli and my Walmart did not have the Pumpkin Cheesecake flavor (BOOO!!!). But I saw this flavor and decided to try it since I am from New York.

I am going to have to find another store to shop at because I have tried most of the flavors that this Walmart carries. I am going to see if Kroger has more flavors. I will probably stop by next week or in 2 weeks to see.

Took a little longer than expected but here is Late Night Snack!

The new flavor is Ben and Jerry's Late Night Snack!

This is Jimmy Fallon's flavor. Apparently, "Late Night Snack" was inspired after a sketch called "Ladysmith Snack Mambazo" which highlighted how much Fallon and his crew loved Ben & Jerry's ice cream. So, the Ben and Jerry's sent Fallon ice cream and the idea for a flavor partnership was born (copyright http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/03/ben-and-jerrys-jimmy-fallon-late-night-snack_n_830797.html)

I wanted to try this flavor for a while. I wasn't sure how the sweet and salty flavor combination was going to work. Vanilla ice cream, chocolate, caramel and...potato chips? Late Night Snack offers an unusual combination of ingredients that blend together to make one unique ice cream flavor. I was extremely interested to try this and see how the flavors work together.

Ben and Jerry's Late Night Snack is Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with a Salty Caramel Swirl & Fudge Covered Potato Chip Clusters

The flavors going on in this pint were intense. You have the sweetness from the rich vanilla bean ice cream and the chocolate. Then you taste the saltiness from the caramel swirl and potato chips. This saltiness hits you and it makes for an unique mixture of textures and taste. I loved the sweet and salty combination from all of the flavors in this pint.

The chocolate covered potato chip clusters are not very crunchy (as a regular potato chip is). But the clusters actually melt in your mouth. The chocolate starts to melt once it hits your tongue and the saltiness from the chips intensifies and satisfies your taste buds.

And to top it off, the caramel swirl also adds that sweet and salty mixture to the pint which melts in your mouth.

I am going to keep on looking for Cannoli in other supermarkets near me. I also heard through the grapevine that Pumpkin Cheesecake is back on Walmart store shelves so I am going to look for that as well.

Thanks for reading!

No luck in finding Cannoli =(

I went to Walmart today to see if the new Ben and Jerry's flavor Cannoli was in stock. Unfortunately it wasn't in stock. I noticed that the Walmart near me doesn't have a lot of Ben and Jerry's flavors, which is odd because it is a HUGE Walmart. I think I may have to go to another supermarket to see if they have Cannoli next week.

Because the flavor was not in stock yet, I picked up Late Night Snack. Late Night Snack is Jimmy Fallon's flavor. It sounds interesting and I wanted to try this flavor for a long time.

I hope to have the new review sometime next week.

Pistachio Pistachio!!!!!!

The new Ben and Jerry's flavor this time is Pistachio Pistachio.

Ben and Jerry's Pistachio Pistachio is Pistachio Ice Cream with Lightly Roasted Pistachios (how many times can you say Pistachio in a sentence?!).

Very simple flavor with very simple ingredients but an interesting flavor. Usually, a flavor with nuts in it has something else in the pint as well, like chocolate, caramel or other flavors. But this is just pistachios. There is nothing else in the pint but Pistachios. I think that is unusual for an ice cream flavor but a cool idea nevertheless.

The ice cream itself is very creamy but it doesn't have a strong pistachio flavor to it. The actual pistachio nuts in the pint enhance the flavor of the pistachio ice cream. The pint has whole pistachios in it, and there is a good amount of them in the pint. You can get at least one pistachio in each spoonful. The pistachios themselves are not soggy and they have a nice crunch to them. I like that they are lightly roasted as well. It definitely gives the flavor and the ice cream a different texture and taste that I am used to.

Sometime this week I am going to Walmart to try and find the new Ben and Jerry's Cannoli flavored Ice Cream. If I can't find it, I will get another flavor.

Thanks for reading!

CANNOLI LIMITED BATCH!!

I was casually looking on my Facebook page and Ben and Jerry's was on my news feed. I read it and I literally SCREAMED out loud. This is what it said:

Swirl."

Never forget, always remember 9/11/01

I wrote this blog post on my other blog. The events at occurred on 9/11 had hit me pretty hard over the past 11 years. And this post below contains my thoughts and my experience of that day and that time and how it affects me now 11 years later.

Blueberry Cheesecake and Prove People Wrong!

I have 2 parts to this post. The 1st is the ice cream and the 2nd is something that I am really excited about.

The new flavor is Blueberry Cheesecake! I now shop at Walmart. It is amazing how BIG the stores are here (I am not used to that at all). Anyways, I had never seen this flavor before and I saw that this pint was a limited batch/exclusive flavor so I decided to give it a try (and I also love blueberries and cheesecake!). I later found out that this flavor is a Walmart exclusive, hence why I never saw it before.

Ben and Jerry's Blueberry Cheesecake consists of Blueberry and Cheesecake Ice Cream with a Thick Graham Cracker Swirl.

I first tried the white, cheesecake ice cream. After tasting it, it reminded me of that classic cream cheese filling that is in cheesecake. I then tried the blueberry ice cream and it gives the ice cream a tart flavor. One thing that I noticed and liked was that it looked like there were remnants of blueberries in the blueberry ice cream. I saw blueish "dots" which could be parts of the skin or seeds from the blueberry. As for the graham cracker swirl, some of the swirl was really thick but there are other parts that are very thin throughout the pint. The swirl gives the flavor a crunchy texture that reminds me of the crust on a piece of cheesecake.

That is my review for Blueberry Cheesecake. My next flavor will be Pistachio Pistachio.

The second part of this post is about a company that I am now a representative of. The company is called Prove People Wrong or PPW. It was started by my friend’s brother Cam, who will be attending the University of Maine in 2013 on a full hockey scholarship. He came up with the “Prove People Wrong” saying because he was always told he was too short and would never make a D1 college team. Three of his friends loved the idea of PPW, adopted the philosophy and wanted to spread it throughout as many outlets as possible. They eventually got the attention of Boston Bruins Goalkeeper Tim Thomas. They now have more athletes supporting them; including James van Riemsdyk of the Toronto Maple Leafand others.

The reason why I became a rep with PPW is that I am a believer in this organization and what they stand for. I have been told many times that I could not do something because I was not good or smart enough. I think that I am a stronger individual and a better person now because of PPW and proving to myself that I am capable of whatever I put my mind to.

Their website is listed below. The founders are a great group of guys that just want to get this message across and make a positive statement to as many people as possible.  http://www.provepeoplewrong.com/

If you are interested, they have an online store as well. There is a 10% off your order sale if you use the code 33221. And a portion of the proceeds goes to the Tim Thomas Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to "'support the underdog' whether the underdog position was developed due to lack of opportunity, lack of education, illness or a disaster."

Please don't hesitate to comment about Prove People Wrong below (or the ice cream for that matter).

I am in MICHIGAN!!!

After living in a hotel for 5 days and getting my keys to my new place, I am finally settled in Flint, Michigan!! I have been without internet for over a week and I just got it last night. Now I can finally post something!

I started my graduate classes last week and I am studying like crazy already. The next 3 years will be very long and difficult but I know I can get through it.

Anyways, while in Michigan, I stopped by the Walmart (they are HUGE here) and picked up 2 flavors; Blueberry Cheesecake and Pistachio Pistachio. I am going to try one within a few days and hopefully have a review soon.

That is it for now! I have to go back to studying!

Need to take a longer break from Ben and Jerry's =(

My break from Ben and Jerry's is going to be longer than I hoped. This week, I am moving out of New York to my new apartment in Michigan. I am starting graduate school at the University of Michigan. I am packing my life in boxes. I am hoping to get back to trying more Ben and Jerry's Flavors once I get myself situated in my apartment in Michigan (I am hoping this will be next week but I cannot make any promises right now). Thanks for following and reading.

Taking a little break from ice cream, but for good reason

So here is the deal. I had a party the other day and we have a lot of cake left over. I mean...A LOT of cake. We have cake left over for about 30 people sitting in our freezer right now! So it is my job to eat it all. Yep, and this may take me a while haha. And I do not want the cake to go to waste because it is really good (and it was expensive lol). Because of this, I will not be buying ice cream for a little while.

We have reached the 10,000 view mark today!!! Thanks to everyone for reading and following my blog for the past year! And thanks to Ben and Jerry's for making an incredible product for millions to enjoy!

Back from Michigan and Canada, and Cherry Garica!!!

A few days ago, I got back from my trip to my new school in Michigan and Canada. It was a lot of fun seeing my new graduate school (The University of Michigan) and I visited Canada (the Toronto area) for the first time. And now it is back to normal for another month until I move to Michigan in the end of August.

The next flavor is Cherry Garcia! Now I have a confession to make...I never had Cherry Garcia before this. I know it is one of Ben and Jerry's classic flavors but I actually HATED cherries when I was younger. I even hated the cherry flavored candies. I did not like anything cherry. I only started liking cherries recently so I decided to try and review the classic flavor.

Cherry Garcia consists of Cherry Ice Cream with Cherries and Fudge Flakes. It is named after the legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia in 1987.

The cherry ice cream flavor itself is not overpowering; there is a hint of cherry flavor. It is very creamy just like other Ben and Jerry's flavors. I would say that most of the cherry flavor comes from the actual cherries. In my pint, I had HUGE pieces of cherries. I actually had half of a whole cherry in the pint. There is a mixture of big and small chunks of chocolate. The cherries and chocolate together make an incredible but simple combo of flavors.

I am not sure what the next flavor will be. I will let you guys know when I get another flavor.

Thanks for reading!!!!

Peanut Butter World!

New flavor is Peanut Butter World!

Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter World consists of Milk Chocolate Ice Cream with Peanut Buttery Swirls and Chocolate Cookie Swirls.
Can you tell I bought the pint at Target?
My first thought of the flavor was that it tastes just like a Reese's peanut butter cup or Tagalongs (the Girl Scout Cookie). There are actually chucks of peanut butter in my spoonfuls. Because of this, the peanut butter is more overpowering than the chocolate flavors from the ice cream and cookie swirl. There are also different textures in the pint; the milk chocolate ice cream is creamy, the peanut butter is smooth and melts in your mouth, and the chocolate cookie swirl adds a little crunch to the flavor. All of these flavors are great and they make Peanut Butter World a very intense flavor of Ben and Jerry's.

My next review will be of...Cherry Garcia. But there is a catch...I will be away for the next week or so because I have my orientation for graduate school in Michigan. I am hoping to get a review in 2 weekends or so.

Thanks for reading!

I have Peanut Butter World and...Cherry Garcia!

I went to Target yesterday, not knowing what flavors I wanted to get. I looked around and I saw the Peanut Butter World flavor, which is a flavor that I have never seen before and I decided to get that flavor. I also decided to get the classic flavor Cherry Garcia because I feel like I have waited too long to review it.

I am hoping to get a review for the Peanut Butter World flavor soon because the next week and a half is going to be crazy. I have a few graduation parties to go to, a concert, and I am going to be in Michigan and Canada next week for graduate school orientation/road trip/vacation.

So be on the lookout for the Peanut Butter World review soon!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

After a long absence because of sickness, I am back with another review. This time it is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is Vanilla Ice Cream with Gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

It is a very simple flavor and there isn't much to the flavor. The vanilla ice cream is very smooth and creamy as usual. The description doesn't say this but there are also pieces of chocolate chips throughout the vanilla ice cream (as you can see in the picture below). It's like chocolate chip ice cream instead of just plain vanilla ice cream.

And then there are the gobs of chocolate cookie dough. There are small and big gobs and there is a lot of them in the pint. Most of them are about the size of a quarter. They are chewy, the dough melts in your mouth, and the gobs are very sweet.

I have to go food shopping and get another pint. Not sure what flavor I want to get yet but I will let you guys know when I get it. I hope that I can write more reviews now that my cold/sore throat is gone and not have a 3 week gap in between reviews.

Thanks for reading and happy eating!

Taking a little ice cream break because I am sick!

Hence why there hasn't been a review in a while. I am sick with a sore throat and a cold. I have been avoiding ice cream for the past week since it actually makes my cold worse (dairy + cold = non-stop runny nose and sore throat). Fortunately, the cold and sore throat is going away so I should open up another pint soon. The next pint is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Mud Pie and other stuff

So I didn't go Vermont; the trip was cancelled. But I did graduate last Sunday and I am officially done with my undergraduate career. So now I just have to focus on relaxing/working this summer, getting ready for graduate school, and eating more Ben and Jerry's Flavors!

Here is the next flavor, Mud Pie!

Mud Pie is Chocolate and Irish Coffee Liqueur Ice Creams with a Chocolate Cookie Swirl.

It is a cool flavor. The Irish coffee liqueur and chocolate ice creams are swirled together which is nice because you pretty much get an even amount of each ice cream. When I opened the pint, there was a big chunk of chocolate cookie. Underneath this chunk, the chocolate cookie was swirled with the 2 ice creams. In this flavor, the chocolate ice cream is more powerful than the Irish coffee liqueur ice cream. This may be caused by the chocolate cookie swirl as well (double the chocolate). And I actually like it this way. I can definitely taste the Irish coffee liqueur ice cream and I think it enhances the flavor of the ice cream but it is not the main flavor that I tasted.

That is it for now. I think the next flavor is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which is a classic ice cream flavor. I am interested to see how this Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (CCCD for short haha) flavor is different than other CCCD ice creams that I tasted.

Thanks for reading and happy eating!!!!!

Keep you guys up to date

The good news: I went food shopping today and picked up 2 new flavors which include Mud Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

The other good news: I am graduating from college tomorrow! I am still in shock that it is over and that I will not be returning to Quinnipiac next year in the fall. I will be continuing my studies at the University of Michigan for 3 years! Since I am graduating, I am taking a week off from work to just relax and...go to Vermont for a few days! I am not sure of the details of this Vermont adventure but we may be going to the Ben and Jerry's factory to take a tour! Anyways, I am excited for this adventure and extremely nervous about graduation because I don't want to mess up or trip on stage or something. But in less than 24 hours, I will be a college graduate. I still cannot believe that I am saying that.

The not so good news: Because of graduation and these festivities, I probably will not be posting anything for a little while. Just giving you all a heads up. Hopefully I can give a summary after Memorial Day weekend with possibly another review.

So that's it for now. I got to get some sleep so I am ready for tomorrow. Wish me luck and congrats to all of the graduates! We did it Class of 2012!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a Facebook page for the blog!!

I was bored (I have been bored a lot over the past few days) so I decided to make a Facebook page. Here it is if you want to check it out for now http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ben-and-Jerrys-Fanatic/415500368481429?skip_nax_wizard=true. I literally created it 5 minutes ago so it is kind of bland right now. But I have nothing to do tomorrow so hopefully I can play with it a little bit more.

Thanks again everyone! And also, we have hit over 6000 views!!!!
And by the way, apple pie and Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream is AWESOME!

Check out this blog!!!

I have been off from school for the past 2 days so I had a lot of free time. I was bored and watching TV so I decided to see what other ice cream blogs are out there. And I found a great and fun blog called Scoopalicious. There are reviews of certain ice creams along with recipes for ice cream.
Definitely check out the blog here: http://scoopalicious.blogspot.com/

I won't have any new flavors for a little while

I need to go food shopping with my mom for now on! She got Cinnamon Bun and Banana Split which I have already tried lol. It is ok though. And the Cinnamon Bun flavor went great with the apple pie I had last night. I recommend that you guys should give it a try. It is genius.

Chocolate Therapy!

Just in time for finals, this weeks Ben and Jerry's flavor is Chocolate Therapy!

Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Therapy is Chocolate Ice Cream with Chocolate Cookies and Swirls of Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream.

There is soooooo much chocolate in this flavor. For me, tt is hard to pick out the chocolate ice cream from the chocolate pudding. All of the flavors blended in so well with one another. But you can definitely see the chocolate pudding with the chocolate ice cream (you can see the different shades of brown from the different chocolates in the picture below).

There is a little bit of a crunch due to the chocolate cookies in the ice cream. There are not a lot of chocolate cookie pieces within the pint. But I actually don't mind it because the chocolate flavor is so intense and a little bit of a different texture is a nice addition to the flavor.

This flavor is a chocolate lover's dream. It really is a therapy for anything. If you LOVE chocolate, this flavor is for you. This is probably the best chocolate ice cream that I have ever tasted.

I do not know what my next flavor is going to be. I am moving out of my dorm tomorrow (sad face) and I am going back home. It is 10 days until graduation and I am freaking out a little bit (just a little). Anyways, I will try and get a new flavor soon and I will let you guys know what flavor I get.

Thanks for reading!

Cheesecake Brownie Review!!

I decided to try the Cheesecake Brownie Flavor first.

This Ben and Jerry's flavor consists of Cheesecake Ice Cream with Cheesecake Brownie Chunks.

I opened up the pint and I could smell the cheesecake ice cream before you taste it. It is really strong (which I liked), very creamy and the ice cream is a plain cheese cake flavor. As you can see from the picture below, there were a lot of brownie chunks. The chunks came in all sizes but there was a lot of them. The good thing about the chunks was that they are very soft and are just like regular brownies that you bake. They melt in your mouth along with the ice cream.

This flavor is very simple because it just contains the ice cream and the brownies. I do like the simplicity of the flavor and I would like to see more complex cheesecake flavors in the future (I know that they have some other flavors but it would be cool to see what else Ben and Jerry's can come up with).

I will try Ben and Jerry's new flavor Chocolate Therapy next week. The school year is almost over and I am getting ready to graduate from college so this the Chocolate Therapy flavor may be the last flavor for a little while. Fortunately I do not have finals (just papers) so I should have a review buy early next week.

I BOUGHT NEW FLAVORS!!!!!

Ben and Jerry's was on sale at Stop and Shop this week so I got a really good price for 2 pints. I picked up Chocolate Therapy and Cheesecake Brownie. Both looked awesome so I had to get them. I am not sure which flavor I am going to try first; it will be hard to pick. Hopefully I will have a review of one of these flavors by next week sometime (not sure when yet because I have a busy week but I will be procrastinating as usual).

Chocolate Nougat Crunch!!

It has been very warm outside in Connecticut the past few days and this ice cream has really hit the spot!

Ben and Jerry's Chocolate nougat Crunch consists of Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Fudge Covered Wafer Cookies and a Chocolate Nougat Swirl.

The sweet ice cream is really, really, REALLY sweet (which is a good thing). I was almost surprised on how sweet it tasted. But it also has a vanilla-y taste to it which tasted very good. The fudge covered wafer cookies have a crunch to them and are not softened at all by the ice cream. And there is a good amount of fudge covering the cookies. They are bite size and there was a lot of them in my pint.

I was expecting the swirl to be chocolate colored but it is actually a nougat color. I was expecting the swirl to be more chocolate-y but I didn't really taste the chocolate in the swirl. But it was very good nevertheless.

Overall, the flavor is really good. But I feel that the title of the flavor is quite deceiving since there was not a lot of chocolate in it. It may have been my taste buds but the only noticeable chocolate I had tasted was from the fudge covered wafers. I did not really taste a lot of chocolate in the swirl; I feel that the nougat flavor is more overpowering than the chocolate flavor. But it is a really cool flavor regardless.

I need to buy another flavor. I am not sure when I will be able to go food shopping next. I will let you all know when I get another flavor.

I went food shopping today and got a new flavor!!!

I got Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Nougat Crunch!! I wanted ice cream this time and not FroYo. I saw this flavor and it looks interesting. Hopefully i will get a review out by the end of this week (that a long shot but one can always hope!)

Strawberry Shortcake!

First off, I hope everyone had a great free cone day. Unfortunately I was not able to attend (I wish there was a Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shop closer to my school!!!).

This week, I tried and reviewed Ben and Jerry's new flavor Strawberry Shortcake Greek FroYo!

Ben and Jerry's Greek FroYo is Strawberry Greek Frozen Yogurt with Shortbread Pieces.

This is a simple flavor compared to Ben and Jerry's Ice Creams. The Strawberry Greek yogurt is not as sour as the blueberry Greek FroYo flavor I had a few weeks ago. There are pieces of strawberry in the Greek yogurt as well. The pieces of shortcake are small and mixed throughout the pint. I do wish there was more of these shortcake pieces in the pint. I am not sure if it is just my pint that doesn't have a lot of pieces of shortcake in it. The Strawberry Greek Yogurt is the prominent flavor in this pint.

One thing that I have been noticing about the Greek FroYo flavors is that they are very simple. They don't have a lot of crazy flavors or textures. But it is nice to be able to switch things up a bit from the crazy flavors of Ben and Jerry's ice creams. I wonder if Ben and Jerry's is going to make more Greek Yogurt flavors in the future.

So, now I don't have anymore Ben and Jerry's flavors in my freezer! I am going to have to make a trip next week to the supermarket and pick up a pint. There are 2 Ben and Jerry's Greek FroYo flavors left that I haven't tried yet. But I may go for a new ice cream flavor. Or a regular frozen yogurt flavor. I will see what the supermarket has when I go food shopping.

That is it for now. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy Easter and Happy Passover!
