Liz Lemon Greek FroYo Review!

It has been a long time but here is the review!

Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the FroYo flavor.

Liz Lemon is Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt with a Blueberry Lavender Swirl.

When I first tasted this flavor, it reminded me of a creamy Italian Ice. It brought me back to the times where I ate Lemon Italian Ices during the hot summer nights. The lemon flavor is refreshing but it is not overpowering or sour. Regarding the Blueberry Lavender Swirl, I don't really taste the blueberry. I definitely taste the lavender. The swirl does not change the texture of the FroYo and it is swirled throughout the pint (see the picture). I also noticed that the actual Greek FroYo is not as sour as other Ben and Jerry's Greek FroYo flavors that I have tried. Overall, the lemon FroYo with this swirl is an interesting combination.

I give this flavor a 8.5/10. I really like how it reminds me of a Italian Ice. But I do wish that there was a little more "pop" to the flavor.

The next flavor will be Pina Colada!

Until next time, thanks for reading!

Got another flavor...New York Super Fudge Chunk

Went to Walmart yesterday and got this flavor. I am still on the hunt for Cannoli and my Walmart did not have the Pumpkin Cheesecake flavor (BOOO!!!). But I saw this flavor and decided to try it since I am from New York.

I am going to have to find another store to shop at because I have tried most of the flavors that this Walmart carries. I am going to see if Kroger has more flavors. I will probably stop by next week or in 2 weeks to see.

No luck in finding Cannoli =(

I went to Walmart today to see if the new Ben and Jerry's flavor Cannoli was in stock. Unfortunately it wasn't in stock. I noticed that the Walmart near me doesn't have a lot of Ben and Jerry's flavors, which is odd because it is a HUGE Walmart. I think I may have to go to another supermarket to see if they have Cannoli next week.

Because the flavor was not in stock yet, I picked up Late Night Snack. Late Night Snack is Jimmy Fallon's flavor. It sounds interesting and I wanted to try this flavor for a long time.

I hope to have the new review sometime next week.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

After a long absence because of sickness, I am back with another review. This time it is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is Vanilla Ice Cream with Gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

It is a very simple flavor and there isn't much to the flavor. The vanilla ice cream is very smooth and creamy as usual. The description doesn't say this but there are also pieces of chocolate chips throughout the vanilla ice cream (as you can see in the picture below). It's like chocolate chip ice cream instead of just plain vanilla ice cream.

And then there are the gobs of chocolate cookie dough. There are small and big gobs and there is a lot of them in the pint. Most of them are about the size of a quarter. They are chewy, the dough melts in your mouth, and the gobs are very sweet.

I have to go food shopping and get another pint. Not sure what flavor I want to get yet but I will let you guys know when I get it. I hope that I can write more reviews now that my cold/sore throat is gone and not have a 3 week gap in between reviews.

Thanks for reading and happy eating!

Taking a little ice cream break because I am sick!

Hence why there hasn't been a review in a while. I am sick with a sore throat and a cold. I have been avoiding ice cream for the past week since it actually makes my cold worse (dairy + cold = non-stop runny nose and sore throat). Fortunately, the cold and sore throat is going away so I should open up another pint soon. The next pint is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Mud Pie and other stuff

So I didn't go Vermont; the trip was cancelled. But I did graduate last Sunday and I am officially done with my undergraduate career. So now I just have to focus on relaxing/working this summer, getting ready for graduate school, and eating more Ben and Jerry's Flavors!

Here is the next flavor, Mud Pie!

Mud Pie is Chocolate and Irish Coffee Liqueur Ice Creams with a Chocolate Cookie Swirl.

It is a cool flavor. The Irish coffee liqueur and chocolate ice creams are swirled together which is nice because you pretty much get an even amount of each ice cream. When I opened the pint, there was a big chunk of chocolate cookie. Underneath this chunk, the chocolate cookie was swirled with the 2 ice creams. In this flavor, the chocolate ice cream is more powerful than the Irish coffee liqueur ice cream. This may be caused by the chocolate cookie swirl as well (double the chocolate). And I actually like it this way. I can definitely taste the Irish coffee liqueur ice cream and I think it enhances the flavor of the ice cream but it is not the main flavor that I tasted.

That is it for now. I think the next flavor is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which is a classic ice cream flavor. I am interested to see how this Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (CCCD for short haha) flavor is different than other CCCD ice creams that I tasted.

Thanks for reading and happy eating!!!!!

Check out this blog!!!

I have been off from school for the past 2 days so I had a lot of free time. I was bored and watching TV so I decided to see what other ice cream blogs are out there. And I found a great and fun blog called Scoopalicious. There are reviews of certain ice creams along with recipes for ice cream.
Definitely check out the blog here: http://scoopalicious.blogspot.com/

Rocky Road-ish!!!

It's Rocky Road time (finally)!!!

Finally writing a new post. Life has been super crazy lately with graduate schools and tests and work. I barely had enough time to eat ice cream!

About 2 weeks ago, I bought 2 flavors, Rocky Road-ish and Dublin Mudslide. I decided to go with Rocky Road-ish because Rocky Road is a classic flavor. Ben and Jerry's Rocky Road-ish consists of Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream with a Toasted Marshmallow Swirl and Fudge Covered Almonds.

The toasted marshmallow ice cream is amazing. You definitely taste the toasted flavor. The toasted marshmallow swirl gives the flavor its "kick" and enhances the marshmallow flavor and makes it more intense. I really like the swirl because has a little bit of the marshmallow texture (airy and fluffy). There are a lot of almonds in it as well. But I do not think that they are full almonds. A lot of the almonds are small and don't have that almond look and shape to it. I think that there are just pieces of almonds, not whole almonds. But nevertheless, almonds are almonds regardless of what shape and size they are.

Overall, I like this flavor. Great mixture of flavors between the fudge, almonds, marshmallow swirl and marshmallow ice cream.

My next flavor is Dublin Mudslide. I hope to get a review of that flavor early next week.

Thanks for reading!
