Now that the holidays are mostly over, I am making a new review.
This week's flavor is Cinnamon Bun.
This flavor consists of Caramel Ice Cream with Cinnamon Bun Dough and Cinnamon Streusel Swirl.
I liked this flavor. I had this flavor just before the holidays and it was the perfect flavor for me to get into the holiday spirit (I always loved cinnamon during the holidays or the winter).
There was a blast of cinnamon flavor once I opened the lid to the pint. I took a bite of the ice cream and I loved the texture of it. The ice cream was every cinnamon-y and smooth. Then the chunks of the cinnamon bun dough change the texture. It kind of reminded me of the Milk and Cookies flavor (which was my last review) in that sense.
I also liked that there were HUGE chunks of the dough in my pint. I wonder if that is the case in all of the other pints of this flavor.
The cinnamon streusel swirl makes the flavor even more intense. You can tell that the swirl is there in the pint and there is a lot of it. The swirl also adds to the ever changing texture of the ice cream.
Well, that is it for now. I probably will not have a review for a few weeks now until I get back to school. I am home for winter break so I probably won't be able to get my hands on a new pint for a little while. We do have some Ben & Jerry's pints in the house but they are all flavors that I have tried and reviewed already. And it will take me a while to eat them and get more pints because I am trying to get over a cold and a bad stomach bug (which is one of the only things that, unfortunately, B&J ice cream can't fix).
So, hopefully I will get a new review in mid January. I hope everyone has a great New Year and eats a lot of B&J ice cream!
Thanks for reading!
...and blogging about it!! On a mission to eat every Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream flavor that is on the market right now. This should be fun!

Hello blogger,
ReplyDeleteI just wandered if you had tried the raspberry chocolate fudge brownie? Its a new recent flavour in the UK cinemas and just wandered what your thoughts were :)
Cool site by the way.
Hi! I haven't tried that flavor yet. I have to see if the supermarket near me sells it. I will buy it if they have it in the store the next time I go. Thanks for reading my blog!
DeleteHi there! So I went to the supermarket today and they did not have raspberry chocolate fudge brownie. I have to go to another supermarket to see if they have it.
DeleteGotta agree with you on this one and reviewed it on my blog at CrazyFoodDude.com. This might be one of my favorite, if not my favorite, flavor I've ever had. It's really a toss-up between this one and Clusterfluff/What a Cluster. I guess it just depends on my mood that day.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this flavor too. I also tried (and did a review of) clusterfluff since I love peanut butter. But I have to say that Phish Food is my overall favorite flavor (as of right now). Its a classic.
DeleteKroger in Knoxville ,Tn. has cinnamon bun flavor but they are OUT ...is this only seasonal flavor? I absolutely LOVE the flavor!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if Cinnamon Bun is a seasonal flavor. But definitely take a look around at other supermarkets and see if they have it. I know they came out with Schweddy Balls last year around the holidays. But Ben and Jerry's usually put seasonal flavors in their graveyard after the season is over.
